Anybody know what is going on with Apple TV+: no HDR last night (10/7/21) for See and Foundation? I am viewing via Roku platform on a LG OLED screen. HBO Max has HDR just fine, so this seems to be an issue with Apple TV+. Have not noticed a problem before. The scenes were very dark and night scenes almost impossible to view. Thank you!
I am having same issue. I spoke with Apple and they told me my iPhone is fine and it is a problem with the streaming companies. However, my Netflix, Hulu, peacock, and HBO Max work on all my other devices (including my wife's iPhone XR). She probably has not downloaded newest update. I will check to see if she has though.
Enter the 6-character code that appears on your TV and then choose Next. Code not working? Enter the email and password for your HBO Max account (or your HBO Nordic or HBO España account) and then choose Sign in. Need help? See Can't sign in.
It was working fine yesterday, now when I log in it says "oops! something went wrong" and tells me to restart the app. I have restarted the app, signed out, re-installed, restarted my xbox, checked for updates I did everything. No dice. Its working fine on my computer. The funny thing is, I can see the app actually signed in and working
That is not available on earlier models. Without Apple TV box, you will have to choose from the apps as offered by the TV/streaming device manufacturer. The Apple TV app alone doesn’t facilitate adding additional apps. The Apple TV app does offer select in-app Channels to subscribe to, but that doesn’t include HBO Max.
Method 1: Use the Max iOS app and Airplay to stream content. The first thing you should try that might spell out success for you involves using the Max iOS app and Airplay for streaming content in Dolby Vision in 4K alongside the frame rate matching. Try this tweak and check if the HBO Max Dolby Vision and 4K HDR Not Working on Apple TV issue
When I say Apple TV, I mean the app. I can access HBO Max on the iPhone and my iPad Pro through the Apple TV app. When I search for HBO in either of those, movies and such come up from HBO Max show up that I can watch. But for the MacBook Pro, logging in to the HBO Max website seems the only option and it says I do not have a subscription.
